    Yoga Mudras to Control Overthinking

    Sakshi Dhyan

    “Sakshi” means to observe or witness. In this meditation technique, you take on the role of the observer, silently watching your own thoughts as you meditate.

    Instead of engaging with your thoughts, fighting them, or trying to escape them, simply focus on sitting still and accepting your thoughts without personal involvement or judgment. Be a witness as they come and go, without forming any opinions about what is right or wrong. This detached observation allows you to gain control over your thoughts and let them pass without being consumed by them.

    Bhavigatha Dhyan

    “Bhavigatha” refers to upward movement, like the flames of a fire reaching for the sky. In this meditation technique, you direct your thoughts towards positivity.

    Think about the productive aspects you can incorporate into your life or make a list of things you need to accomplish for personal growth. This form of meditation includes practices such as Agni Dhyan (fire meditation) and Tratak Dhyan (candle flame meditation). By focusing on powerful and positive thoughts, you can cultivate calmness and composure.
