Your wedding day is fast approaching, and you want to look absolutely radiant in your bridal attire. While makeup can work wonders, nothing beats the natural glow that comes from within. So, before you splurge on expensive skincare products, why not try some simple and affordable DIY face packs that you can make right in your kitchen?

DIY Face Masks for a Bridal Glow

We reached out to Dr. Kiran Sethi, a dermatologist, for some tried-and-tested DIY face packs that will give you that oh-so-gorgeous bridal glow. Here are a few of her recommendations:

    Yogurt and Honey Mask

To make this face pack, simply mix equal parts of yogurt and honey and apply it to your face. Leave it on for at least one hour before rinsing it off with water.

Yogurt and honey are both known for their amazing skincare benefits. When combined, they help promote healthy skin and give you a natural glow. The exfoliating properties of yogurt remove dead skin cells, revealing a more even complexion. Honey also has a unique enzyme that lightens and brightens discolored skin.

    Sugar Water with Buttermilk

For this face pack, crush sugar granules and soak them in water. Mix the sugar water with buttermilk and apply it all over your face for 10 minutes, then wash it off.

Buttermilk is great for cleansing the impurities on your skin’s surface and in your pores. It also helps remove dead skin cells and prevents bacterial growth. The lactic acid in buttermilk deeply cleanses and nourishes your skin, leaving it with a natural glow.

Papaya and Aloe Vera Face Pack

Take ½ teaspoon of aloe vera and mix it with ½ cup of mashed papaya. You can also add ½ teaspoon of sandalwood powder for a cooling effect and instant radiance. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

Papaya is a fantastic ingredient for instantly hydrating, smoothening, and rejuvenating the skin. It also helps fade scars and pigmentation while exfoliating dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft and supple. Aloe vera soothes wounds and sunburns, unclogs pores, and keeps your skin hydrated and fresh.

Oatmeal, Rice Flour, and Honey Face Pack for Exfoliation

Grind a cup of oatmeal into a fine powder and mix it with two tablespoons of rice flour. Add a teaspoon of honey and mix well to form a smooth paste. Apply the paste to your face and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water.

If you have oily skin, this face pack is perfect for you. Oatmeal helps control excess sebum, cleanses pores, and can even treat minor acne. Rice flour is packed with antioxidants that slow down premature aging and fade dark spots. Meanwhile, honey provides much-needed moisture to your skin.

So, before you spend a fortune on expensive skincare products, why not give these DIY face packs a try? They are affordable, natural, and easy to make. Get ready to shine on your special day with that radiant bridal glow!
