of the

for Victims of Crime constitutes acceptance and
agreement to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Information You Provide to Us
The personal information we receive on-line comes directly from site
visitors who have registered as National Center members, are interested in
becoming members, have registered for a National Center conference, or have
purchased various products from the
National Center's on-line store.
Typically, this registration information includes the contact and
organization name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, and credit
card information. This information is used by the
National
Center
to confirm membership status,
process billing, and fill customer orders. It is not sold or
distributed in any other manner.
E-mail Addresses
The National
Center sends its members
regular e-mail updates and alerts that feature current information legislative/policy
developments, funding opportunities, and new resources available through the
National
Center for Victims of Crime
and other non-profit organizations and government agencies. These e-mails do not include any
advertising or promotion of commercial products or services. The
National
Center
does not give,
sell, or otherwise transfer e-mail addresses to any other parties for the
purpose of initiating electronic e-mail messages.
Cookies
The National Center Web site uses 'cookies' files sent from a Web
server that stores information in your Web browser, such as your login
information or page preferences. The National Center site uses session cookies, which
are deleted when you exit the site, to hold information about your visit to our
Web site. This feature holds your login information so that you do
not have to login each time you attempt to access our 'Members Only' page. Each

'Members Only' pages is proprietary to the
National Center for Victims of Crime and may not be copied,
reproduced, transmitted, displayed, distributed, or otherwise used in whole or
in part in any manner without the National Center's prior permission.
Secure and Private Connections
You are responsible for any misuse of your account and must take steps to
ensure that others do not gain unauthorized access to your account. In addition, you may
not use your account to breach security of another account or attempt to gain
unauthorized access to another network or server.

provide the following information: (a) IP address used to commit the alleged
violation, (b) date and time of the alleged violation, including the time zone or
offset from GMT, (c) evidence of the alleged violation.
